Posteriormost longitudinal vein (Stark et al., 1999; Blair, 2007; Alba et al., 2021). It branches from wing vein L5 (Sturtevant and Bier, 1995; Alba et al., 2021) and comprises the second anterior cubital vein and the product of its fusion with the first anal vein (McAlpine, 1981; Stark et al., 1999; Blair, 2007). It is relatively short and does not reach the wing margin (Ferris, 1950; Stark et al., 1999; Blair, 2007).
