ventral cervical muscle [FBbt_00058824]
Muscle of the adult neck that attaches to the prothoracic sternal apodeme and extends anteriorly (Miller, 1950; Rivlin et al., 2004). It occupies a relatively ventral position (Miller, 1950; Rivlin et al., 2004). There are three of these on each side (Miller, 1950; Rivlin et al., 2004).
