Pm1a [FBbt_00003834]
Proximal medullary amacrine neuron that enters the proximal surface of the medulla without branching and forms a broad terminal arbor with mixed morphology terminals mainly in medulla layer M9 (Fischbach and Dittrich, 1989).

Adult Nervous system Neuron Visual system
Proximal medullary amacrine neuron that enters the proximal surface of the medulla without branching and forms a broad terminal arbor with mixed morphology terminals mainly in medulla layer M9 (Fischbach and Dittrich, 1989).
The neurotransmitter was assessed by co-labelling cells with a Cha-GAL4.7.4 driver (FBtp0014830) and an anti-ChAT antibody (Varija Raghu et al., 2011 - FBrf0212356), though see comment on Pm1. Pre- versus postsynaptic innervation judged by scoring of terminal morphology from figures in Fischbach and Dittrich (1989) as assessed by FlyBrain Neuron DB.
