Sensory PNS neuron of embryonic/larval abdominal segments 1-7, the pro-, meta- or mesothoracic segments (Dambly-Chaudiere and Ghysen, 1986). In the thoracic segments it innervates the anterior lateral hair of the Keilin organ. In the abdominal segments it is located ventral to vesB.

Suggesting 'larval segmental nerve sensory neuron' as replacement as this is the closest shared parent of abdominal and thoracic (Keilin organ) vesA neurons.
