Thermosensory organ of antennal segment 3.

Sayeed and Benzer, 1996, inferred the presence of thermosensory organ(s) on antennal segment 3 from the results of antennal segment ablation experiments. However, they did not identify which sensilla are responsible. Two thermosensory neuron types are found in the sacculus and there is one of unknown (non-aristal) location (Marin et al., 2020 - FBrf0246456).
