adult subesophageal Leucokinin neuron [FBbt_00110056]
adult subesophageal Leucokinin neuron
ID: FBbt_00110056
Adult neuron that expresses Leucokinin whose cell body is located in the ventromedial subesophageal zone (de Haro et al., 2010. In the brain, it arborizes bilaterally in the gnathal ganglion and tritocerebrum (de Haro et al., 2010. It follows the cervical connective to innervate the thoracic neuromeres (de Haro et al., 2010. It also exits the central nervous system to follow the maxillary and labro-frontal nerves (de Haro et al., 2010. There are two of these neurons per organism (Cavey et al., 2016. (Cavey et al., 2016, de Haro et al., 2010)
de Haro et al., 2010 find 2-3 pairs with Lk-GAL4, Cavey et al., 2016 find one pair with Lk antibody.
