Doublesex-expressing neuron of the female that is part of a cluster in the posterior region of the protocerebrum. There are fewer of these cells in the female than pC2 (male) cells in the male. Approximately 16 of these cells per hemisphere arise from the CP3 (DL2) neuroblast (Ren et al., 2016).
